Nordgold Publishes 2019 Sustainability Report
London, United Kingdom, 9 September 2020 –– Nordgold, the internationally diversified gold producer, is pleased to announce that its Sustainability Report for the year ended December 31, 2019, is now available on the Nordgold website at www.nordgold.com.
Working in a responsible and sustainable way is central to how we operate as a business. We take this commitment extremely seriously and continue to make major strides further improving our overall ESG performance. Measures include a significant investment into staff training and development, working to minimise our overall environmental footprint in particular through energy efficiency, water recycling and biodiversity projects, as well as working in partnership to support our host communities. These behaviours are core to our purpose — to be more than gold and to ensure we leave a lasting, positive legacy. I am proud to present our CSR and Sustainable Development Report and look forward to updating this once again next year. Nikolai ZelenskiChief Executive Officer of Nordgold
