Nordgold funds and supports local healthcare development, including building and maintaining health clinics, providing medical equipment, ambulances and sanitation facilities, purchasing essential equipment for local hospitals and supporting sport programmes.

In this regard, Nordgold has built and renovated over 10 healthcare facilities in the regions where it operates.

We are also focused on the specific regional needs of African mines, including actively supporting anti-malaria programmes and implementing precautionary measures to prevent the spread of Ebola. We have system in place to prevent HIV and AIDS diseases. It includes testing, treatment provision and large awareness campaign.

COVID-19 response

Nordgold has and continues to provide COVID-19 support for its host communities, including making necessary equipment available, providing financial support for healthcare facilities & governments and awareness and vaccination campaigns.
